@xM88Kx@SportsSturm But now they have 3 firsts and a third that they didn't have before. Like I said, the net result would be losing Tkachuk and a first. They would net Robertson and a third. Pretty good deal for them.
@HalfInchHollow@Lassimak The Coyotes had terrible ownership and were already a struggling franchise that had spent years in bankruptcy before the move. The only similarity here is that it's an NHL team moving locations. This will not hurt the Stars in any meaningful way.
@HalfInchHollow@Lassimak The Stars have done their homework. A majority of their season ticket holders live north of downtown. Not to mention, DFW's population is dwarfs Phoenix/Glendal's. This is nothing like the Coyotes.
@theEmanAlvani@DLLS_Stars But he isn't making $10M a year anymore. His old contract was based on coming off a Hart Trophy season, but that is irrelevant to the discussion now. The question is: is he worth $1M to this team in 2026?
@samnestler The keyboard warriors calling him soft is wild. ESPECIALLY coming from folks who wouldn't last an entire shift in the NHL.
He literally played on a broken foot last year. Injury prone =X= soft.
@usahockey In international play, there is no reason to think of a roster like an NHL roster. There should be no "top 6/bottom 6" mentality.
Pick the best players.
No Robertson. No Caufield.
Hyvä Suomi!
