We've extended deadline for Market Facilitation Program applications. Kept @usdafsa offices open as long as possible, but closed when funding lapsed. January 15th deadline extended for period of time equal to number of business days FSA offices were closed, once shutdown ends.

Farmer crop trade payments: 50% production X payment rates
Soybeans: $1.65 a bushel.
Sorghum: 86 cents
Wheat: 14 cents
Corn: 1 cent
Cotton: 6 cents a pound

Eligibility: AGI under $900,000; in conservation compliance.
$125,000 payment cap (separate from ARC/PLC cap.)

SX8 is over $1.50 below projected #cropinsurance price. Could there be payments for #soybeans? Here's a simple chart to show the relation between coverage level and yield and what harvest price is needed to trigger a payment. Lower harvest price means higher bushel guarantee.
