@theluckylance Lots of survivors can talk about it anonymously because it doesn't lead to the people they care about looking at them/treating them differently. There's a huge vulnerability in sharing such a trauma. & unfortunately, still shame attached to admittance

Our good friend, famous war photographer Maks Levin, is dead.
He went missing during the Battle of Kyiv on March 13.
Many in the community still had a hope of him being taken prisoner by the Russians.
Unfortunately, his body was recovered on April 1.
Rest in peace, friend.
