You're not the one doing anything; your gifts, anointing, and strength are from the Lord.

Learn from Paul.

Give thanks to God. 1 Thessalonians 5: 18.
Pray continually. 1 Thessalonians 5: 17.
It is pride that prevents you from praying.

You need God's help. There are a lot of things that you do that it is clear that it is only God could have done.

Don't let pride destroy you.

Many of us get into pride because of the victories of the past. Philippians 3: 12-14.

Someone said victories of the past can be like ashes that can quench your fire.

Glorify God for all He has done for you, but don't say you did it.

Pride comes before destruction. Proverbs 16: 18.

It is the capital enemy you must address, so you never fail again.

Pride is the mother of ingratitude. Judges 15: 17-19.

Pride leads to overconfidence. 1 Corinthians 10: 12. Peter was overconfident in his ability. He fell, He denied Jesus. Matthew 26: 31-35.

Pride must die in you as a solider of Christ.

Learn from Moses.

If you ever get to a stage where you begin to think God can not do what He is doing without you, you are in trouble. Numbers 20: 1-12.

Never think that without you, God is helpless. It is the other way round. You are helpless without God.

Learn from Samson. Judges 15: 14-16.

The greatest enemy within is PRIDE.

In warfare, it is regular practice to get an ally when you're facing an enemy you're not sure to defeat. However, if your ally crosses over to the enemy's side, you have a big problem.

The greatest ally of a Christian is Jesus Christ.
If you ever give in to pride, your Ally will join your enemy to fight you. God resists the proud. James 4:6. Proverbs 16:5.

When you allow pride in, you have a big problem because your Ally becomes your enemy.

No matter how well trained or equipped a soldier is, safety is of the Lord. Proverbs 21: 13.

The secret to continuous victory is not giving in to pride. 1 Samuel 2:9.

Enemies are in categories:
External and internal enemies

All external enemies can be grouped together under their captain: satan

Internal enemies include:
Family members. Matthew 10: 36, Genesis 37: 1-20.
+ The first murder ever was committed by a family member. Genesis 4: 1-9.
+ Samson's relatives bound him and handed him over to the enemy. Judges 15: 9-13.

The elders have a saying that if the enemy within doesn't kill you, the enemy without can not kill you.

Occasionally, an enemy within God's army, the body of Christ. Joshua 7.
Enemies within you. James 1: 13-15.
