The Blair Witch Project meets Bone Tomahawk in found footage creature feature PRIMAL DARKNESS.
The film follows the host of a popular outdoor series who sets out to track down the predator responsible for a series of cattle attacks in rural Nevada.
@Adam_Cesare Yeah it’s so wild how this happens sometimes. I’ve been doing tiny indie films for about 6 years now and handle all my own distribution as much as I can because I don’t want some studio to handcuff me and hold my work hostage! Haha.
#DisclosureDay is a lot to process in the best way. Probably Steven Spielberg’s weirdest, most ambitious movie since AI as the filmmaker ruminates (Rod Serling-style) on everything from our place in the universe to theology to the ugliness of human nature—all while throwing back to the paranoid conspiracy thrillers of the 1970s. Epic in scope yet too far from grounded human drama, it once again proves why Spielberg, armed with an original score by the great John Williams and truly award worthy performance by Emily Blunt, does thought-provoking cinematic wonder better than anyone else.
@leendofthings Overall the show was great and animation was top tier, it just would have been a very fun gimmick to get that old school look in the show because the current stuff just immediately tells you what time period it was created in. Still loved it and creature designs were amazing.
For a show that relies so heavily on nostalgia, I can’t believe Stranger Things: Tales from ‘85 didn’t opt for a 2D style show like GI Joe or the OG Ninja Turtles, etc.
@RoundTablePizza is my favorite slice on the planet and I just need to let the world know that. Plus the ranch is unmatched. I’m also eating leftovers of it right now, so work isn’t so bad today.
Still trying to figure out why they’re using a red stag as the deer in this, when it’s not a native species to this country and only exists on farms here haha. Our elk is closely related, but bears a strikingly different physical appearance so this is an odd choice
