The failure of 11 and being on the brink of blowing up the team in '12 seems to be the sliding door moment of his career

@seanjonslut @xaviercross1971 @ScottKacsmar If you played his career over 100 times, he wins more than 5 every time. Him only winning 4 feels underwhelming considering he's a top 2 player ever. The only two things you can blame him for is 2011 and giving the end of his career to the worst owner/GM combo in the sport.

I think most fans would have more sympathy for the Reds brass if the flaws of the current system were the difference in them being a perennial playoff team and WS contender. Instead they are the worst or second worst run team in the sport

That '11 team didn't have much depth either, especially compared to a Golden State team that was already the greatest regular season team ever and added a top 2-3 player in the league for nothing
