@xaviercross1971@seanjonslut@ScottKacsmar I always find it odd that people say he quit when he had damn near 20 rebounds and a triple double in game 6. Had much more to do with his supporting cast being unable to elevate enough in the postseason, which is why he left.
@xaviercross1971@seanjonslut@ScottKacsmar No chance. People would still hold him not having 6 against him. Plus, it's hard to know whether they still win the other two if they got that first one. The failure of 11 and being on the brink of blowing up the team in '12 seems to be the sliding door moment of his career
@seanjonslut@xaviercross1971@ScottKacsmar If you played his career over 100 times, he wins more than 5 every time. Him only winning 4 feels underwhelming considering he's a top 2 player ever. The only two things you can blame him for is 2011 and giving the end of his career to the worst owner/GM combo in the sport.
@Ellydelacr10454@yuggs513 It's not a "fake state" considering it correlates with wins and losses. They're below average in runs scored and can't hit with guys in scoring position. Much more than just one problem.
@KB_48@RedsInFour Can't forget how we got here in the first place and let McLain fool you again. A very small sample size of McLain hitting well doesn't change the fact that he probably should have been demoted if Elly didn't go down.
@DJKelley70@mikewtfwells@dotsonc Hell of an argument to be a part of. They easily have the worst on field results of any team this century. Only team in the sport to not have a home playoff win since 2000.
@mikewtfwells@DJKelley70@dotsonc I still think the Angels might be worse. They had the two best players of the century, including one of the best ever, and have nothing to show for it.
@mikewtfwells@DJKelley70@dotsonc All you can do is give yourself a chance. I think most fans would have more sympathy for the Reds brass if the flaws of the current system were the difference in them being a perennial playoff team and WS contender. Instead they are the worst or second worst run team in the sport
@lightmanburner@NBAPaint1 2018 Game 1 too. His first half of Game 3 in '17 may be the best half of his career. 27/4/3 with 2 stocks and they were still down by 6. Just crazy.
@bryce_spalding@nashsully More than enough to field more than one fringe playoff team. Just shameful how little depth and talent there is in the pipeline considering they never even went all in at any point. Hard to see how they improve enough to be a legit contender in the near future.
@ed_kleese But even he had connections to the Castellini's from STL. Just seems clear to me that just being competitive is the organizational goal. Krall just said the quiet part of the motto out loud.
@ed_kleese Think there's enough evidence to show that it probably doesn't matter who it is. I know there are only 30 of those jobs but it can't be appealing to come and work for what is likely the worst owner in the league.
@joel_wisecup@ou_country@SWINGNMISS7@LanceMcAlister Reds and Browns are 2 of only 3 teams in the big 3 sports (Commanders) to not have a home playoff win this century. Commanders and Browns have at least advanced in the playoffs though.
@ed_kleese If you can't find a way to supplement the top 6-8 players at the top this roster, you have no business running a team. Their depth is embarrassing.
@desiboy_18@EAB_740 No guarantee of that with Boston and a Cleveland led LeBron team still in the east. That '11 team didn't have much depth either, especially compared to a Golden State team that was already the greatest regular season team ever and added a top 2-3 player in the league for nothing
