“WOW okay so the most amazing thing just happened to me and I can’t help but share it with the world. American Airlines instituted a new policy where you have to pay to take a carry-on onto the plane.
Which is ridiculous but off topic.
I consolidate my bags into one and they measure it and say it’s just a little too big. They proceed to charge me $50, except they only take credit card, no cash. Since I just got back from Europe all my cards are being declined as Chase doesn’t know I’m back.
They tell me that I’m going to have to miss the flight and head back to the ticket counter to pay down there. I’m pleading, devastated after a long day of travel. Then, this man walks up and says, “How much is it?” They tell him $50 and he says “I got it.”
I’m astonished and tell him it’s fine not to worry and he hands the lady his card as the American Airlines employees stand in silence shocked by this man’s generosity. They swipe the card and he tells me to have a great flight and hop on board.
I’m crying as I write this and as I board the flight. This man was an angel. I stop him as he’s sitting in first class and try to give him my money but he just shook me off and told me to pay it forward.
My heart is so happy. There are good people in this world.
Be that person for someone because I know after this I sure will be.” 💕
Update: It was NFL player, Jermaine Gresham.”

Wednesday evening, my wife and I took my ten-year old daughter to the middle school for orientation.
While walking around the school and meeting her new teachers, I noticed one teacher I didn’t recognize. She had just moved to town.
She was an beautiful woman-in her mid to late forties-with piercing ice blue eyes. We briefly made eye contact before her eyes quickly locked on to the tattoo on my upper arm.
As she stepped closer-her eyes still fixated on my “ink”-I could see that her eyes were reddening and glossing up quickly. “I was a Navy Hospital Corpsman” I said. “A Medic.”
She was silent, and did not break eye contact with the American flag that wrapped around my left arm. Her hands started to rise: She stopped just short of actually touching my tattoo, as if some part of her brain had suddenly said “Don’t. It’s not appropriate.”
Then, with the fluidity of a ballerina she slowly raised her head, locking her eyes on to mine. We were less that a foot and a half from each other. I saw nothing but pain and sadness. “My son was killed in Afghanistan. I have a picture of him in the room. Would you like to see him?” she asked, with a voice you could sense had a wail just beneath the surface, wanting to escape. “Yes. I would.” I said, as we continued looking at each other for a length of time, that, in any other context would have been disrespectful to my wife.
We walked into the classroom. There he was. A picture of her son was on the wall, right behind her desk. It was his U.S. Army bootcamp photo. “He was twenty-years old” she said softly. My posture stiffened: I felt my body automatically shift to an “attention” position as I placed my right hand over my heart.
By now, my wife was crying. This Gold Star Mother was crying. I had a lump in my throat and my breathing had become shallow and more restricted.
Turning to this heartbroken teacher, I said, “I’m so sorry.”
I could tell that she wanted to reply, but couldn’t. “Can I give you a hug?” I asked her in a lowered voice. “Of course” she said with a look of “Yes, please hug me. I need a hug.”
The fact that I had only known this teacher for less than 2-3 minutes was lost. As we embraced, she hugged me like she was another teenaged daughter on mine, who had just come to me in agony after her first breakup with a boyfriend. Actually, like a Mother….who had just lost a twenty-year old son.
As I slowly allowed my arms to release and move away from her body, she audibly sighed. It was as though 10,000 tiny daggers had temporarily ceased stabbing her in the heart.
“It was a pleasure to meet you.” I said, as I extended my hand to end the moment on a more formal measure, thereby sealing what had happened between our hallway “Hello” and our handshake goodbye, in a sort of time capsule experience that she could return to as often as needed.
While I have no idea what her political affiliation might be, I suspect that she’s a republican. Most everyone here is a republican. I also strongly suspect that she would never vote for Donald Trump again, if she is.
She’s a Gold Star Mother. She’s a real Patriot. Her son was a real Patriot. She knows what real sacrifice means. He, gave his life. She knows-on a cellular level-what democracy is about and what it takes to protect it. People like her also know when someone like Trump, has trashed everything her son served to defend.
Come to think of it, I think it’s very possible that she was once a republican, who, now…has at the very least shifted to an independent. I saw signs of it, actually. As I departed, I turned, about half way across the room, and said “Freedom around the world depends on people like your son.” She immediately replied. “Thank you. Yes, it does. Ukraine knows this all too well” as she placed her hand…over her heart.
HAHAHAHAHA 🤣🤣🤣
Trump just canceled his “Major press conference” on Monday.
ABC News reported this morning that his lawyer warned him that spewing more lies about the election at the press conference can only complicate his legal problems.
Here's another eye-opening clip we produced about the Social Security lies conservatives tell.
Even Ronald Reagan dispelled their myths about it. Make sure everyone sees this.
Roger Stone in the news. Who wants to see Jack Smith question Roger on television? Before you answer, take a look at Stone during a deposition a few years ago.
@levparnas We're glad to have you as an ally now, Lev! My latest on Trump's fourth indictment, this one at the hands of Fani Willis in the Great State of Georgia! Read the full indictment here, too https://t.co/AdTFErFUiS
YES. I won the vote of a Trump supporter!
Everyone who cares about our country could learn from my story:
At a campaign stop, he asked me what I think of Trump. I said the hard truth:
"I feel sorry for most of Trump's supporters. Many struggling people have been lied to by the media, like FOX News." This caught his ear, and opened him up to what I wanted to tell him:
"People of Ohio have a right to feel abandoned. Jim Jordan votes against the will of the people 97% of the time."
I asked him his concerns for our district, and he told me, then asked me "What would you do differently?"
That opened the door for me to tell him about the bills I'm writing that would help people like him in Ohio and across America: social security protection, crack down on domestic violence... bills Jim Jordan and his ilk would never write.
"I want to be a fighter for everyday Ohioans, even the ones who disagree with me on some issues."
He paused. He thanked me. Then he said,
“Tamie, I’m voting for you. even though I know you’re a Democrat…
"Because no matter what you think about Trump, you don’t hate Trump supporters. Especially not ones trying to have a better life.”
He had voted for Trump and Jim Jordan because they think he was listening to them.
The the truth is, they aren't.
But I am.
Help me get the word out, and together we will kick the world's worst politicians OUT of power. 👇🧵
Andrew Weissmann explains that due to witness tampering, if indicted in Georgia, Donald Trump might not be granted bail. Just today, on Truth Social, Donald Trump told Jeff Duncan NOT TO TESTIFY before the Fulton County Grand Jury.
Reviewing police reports and court records, ABC News found:
12 cases of perpetrators who hailed Trump in the midst or after physically assaulting innocent victims.
18 cases, where perpetrators cheered or defended Trump while taunting or threatening others.
10 cases, Trump and his rhetoric were cited in court to explain a defendant's violent or threatening behavior.
13 cases involved violent or threatening acts in defiance of Trump.
41 of the 54 cases reflect someone echoing presidential rhetoric.
ABC News could not find a single criminal case where an act of violence or threat was made in the name of Obama or W. Bush.
The perpetrators and suspects identified in the 54 cases are mostly white men – as young as teens and as old as 75 – while the victims largely represent an array of minority groups.
Trump has said he deserves "no blame" for what he called the "hatred" coursing through parts of the country.
I say he is full of it.

BREAKING: Donald Trump shoots himself in the foot legally by attacking Judge Tanya Chutkan — the one overseeing his 2020 election case — just a few days after she specifically warned him against making "inflammatory statements."
It doesn't get any stupider than this...
Chutkan gave Trump the warning because his smears and lies might intimidate witnesses or corrupt the jury pool. Rather than listen, Trump unleashed a disgusting personal attack on Chutkan calling her "highly partisan" and "very biased and unfair."
"She obviously wants me behind bars," Trump claimed, an unfair accusation since every single American who respects the rule of law wants that.
Not content to simply attack her in one post, he unleashed another to complain about her sentencing of a Jan. 6th rioter, claiming that her remarks demonstrate bias against him.
He quoted her as saying that the "people who mobbed that Capitol" were "there in fealty, in loyalty" to "one man, not to the Constitution." She reportedly said that they showed "blind loyalty" to "one person" who "remains free to this day."
Such remarks are completely accurate and demonstrate awareness of reality, not real bias.
During her warning, Chutkan had said that "inflammatory statements" would increase the "urgency" that they "proceed to trial quickly."
Now, the judge has to follow through on her threats. Donald Trump is testing her and she must not fail the test. Hold him accountable Judge Chutkan!
Please retweet and ❤️ if you stand with the judge — and consider joining the growing exodus to Tribel, a “woke” new Twitter competitor that banned Trump for life and is exploding in popularity because Elon Musk banned Tribel’s Twitter account — but he forgot to ban this link to download the new Tribel app: https://t.co/HnJzSKjCwX
Maui is my home. You don't speak for me. @Potus immediately declared a "major disaster" in Hawaii & ordered all available federal assets to help with response. The head of FEMA is ON THE GROUND in Lahaina with Gov Green to determine immediate & long term needs. You are despicable
Good news—Georgia prosecutors have texts and emails proving Trump’s team is behind voting system breach. Indictments of Trump and over a dozen others likely this week. Have a great day!
