Please follow @VoLFC2005 for further updates. We really appreciate the following and support twitter has provided us with. We’ll play a few more times as DU in the coming weeks but couldn’t keep quiet for much longer! Exciting times.

Winning cup finals is always special but when your teammate comes to watch after battling cancer for ten months it it’s a bit more than that @RobertReadie

@Elderpark3 You were the only side to score against us today, what a great free kick that was 👍

[Dumbarton United 05s @DU05s]

@Elderpark3 Aye a major let off, they 2 refs did brilliantly seeing 742 offside decisions from half way today 😂

Thanks very much to @clydebank2005s for today’s well run tournament. Delighted for our boys to win, fittingly as their last competitive outing as DU. #oneandonlyDU05 I read last week. Totally agree, photo attached for confirmation.

Hard hard game at times. Commiserations Knightswoods boys, agonising to watch those boys as upset on tv.

@yfst @kerseutd05 Some saves in the penalties son!

@BSC_Tam @camby2005s Cheers Tam, love the way the Broomhill boys stick to their football style. My boy likes training with Niven too, a great boy.

Congratulations to @camby2005s on clinching title following our 1-1 draw today. Gutted for our boys.

@ScottishYouthFA Surely these standards should apply every match and not just your showpiece event? Embarrassing some of the stuff seen week to week.
