I love how from the first trailer that I was a bit ‘meh’ on this film, but since the latest round of marketing amping up the dark comedy, I’m genuinely hyped for this now as it looks like a riot. Plus this poster is so fucking cool.

So #thesubstance was WILD last night. Loved how it went all in, but the sheer craft of it was awesome, especially the sound design, score and editing, which created a really heady, over the top atmosphere that propelled the body horror and satire. Performances were ace too.
