شهدت سمو الشيخة لطيفة بنت محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم، رئيسة الهيئة، حفل تخريج الدفعة الـ 29 من طلاب الجامعة الأمريكية في دبي، والذي يشكّل محطة تاريخية بارزة احتفاءً بـ30 عاماً من التميز الأكاديمي والريادة العالمية في المنطقة.
وعقب كلمة ملهمة ألقاها سعادة خلفان جمعة بلهول، الرئيس التنفيذي لمؤسسة دبي للمستقبل، تفضّلت سموها بتكريم عدد من خريجي الجامعة وتوزيع الجوائز عليهم، تقديراً لإنجازاتهم الأكاديمية المتميزة. وتلا ذلك التقاط صورة جماعية رسمية للخريجين مع سموها تخليداً لهذا الحدث المميز.

Our Chairperson, Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, attended the graduation ceremony of the American University in Dubai's 29th cohort, marking a key milestone that highlights three decades of academic excellence showcased by the institution in the region. Following an inspiring keynote address by His Excellency Khalfan Belhoul, Chief Executive Officer of the Dubai Future Foundation, Her Highness presented awards to outstanding graduates, recognising their exceptional academic achievements, and joined the graduates for an official photo session to mark the occasion.

Hamdan bin Mohammed: During a meeting of The Executive Council, we approved a set of major initiatives and projects worth AED18 billion. These include the Dubai Cultural Strategy 2033, comprising 40 strategic initiatives; and the Dubai Customs Strategy aimed at further strengthening Dubai's position as a global trade hub. We also approved the First Al Khail Street Development Plan, which will deliver a new strategic corridor parallel to Sheikh Zayed Road, featuring a 15-kilometre elevated roadway, serving 2.6 million people.

Additionally, we approved the 'Dubai Population Now' Real-Time Population Census and Growth Monitoring Initiative, which provides real-time data to support decision-making following Dubai's population surpassing 4.58 million at the end of 2025, and the Emirati Talents Strategy in Private Education to create opportunities for 3,000 Emiratis by 2033. In addition, we approved the Dubai Investor Register, a unified platform for individual and institutional investors across the emirate, including the free zones.

We also approved a new visual identity for Dubai's address system, along with the launch of the Global Centre for Technology and Innovation in Islamic Finance. Under the leadership and vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai has become synonymous with ambition and achievement. Our development journey continues, our momentum never slows, and our initiatives keep evolving. The future will always be brighter for Dubai and its people.

حمدان بن محمد: خلال اجتماع المجلس التنفيذي، اعتمدنا حزمة من المبادرات والمشاريع النوعية في دبي بقيمة 18 مليار درهم. فقد اعتمد المجلس استراتيجية دبي الثقافية 2033، التي تضم 40 مبادرة استراتيجية، كما اعتمدنا استراتيجية جمارك دبي، بهدف ترسيخ مكانة دبي محوراً عالمياً للتجارة، واعتمدنا خطة تطوير شارع الخيل الأول، لتنفيذ محور استراتيجي جديد موازٍ لشارع الشيخ زايد، يتضمن أول مسار علوي متصل بطول 15 كيلومتراً، ويخدم 2.6 مليون نسمة.

كما اعتمد المجلس مبادرة "سكان دبي الآن" للتعداد اللحظي، لتوفير بيانات مباشرة وشاملة تدعم صناعة القرار، وذلك مع تجاوز عدد سكان الإمارة 4.58 مليون نسمة بنهاية عام 2025. واعتمدنا أيضاً استراتيجية الكوادر الإماراتية في التعليم الخاص، بهدف توفير فرص لـ 3 آلاف كفاءة إماراتية في هذا القطاع بحلول عام 2033.

كما اعتمدنا مشروع "سجل مستثمر دبي"، الذي يمثل منصة متكاملة للمستثمرين الأفراد والمؤسسات في إمارة دبي، بما يشمل المناطق الحرة، بهدف تسهيل ممارسة الأعمال، إضافة إلى اعتماد مبادرة الهوية البصرية المبتكرة لنظام العنونة في الإمارة، وإطلاق مركز التكنولوجيا والابتكار في مجال التمويل الإسلامي ... بقيادة صاحب السمو الشيخ محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم، جعلت دبي اسمها مرادفاً للطموح والإنجاز ... ومسيرة التطوير مستمرة، وزخم المشاريع لا يتوقف، والمبادرات تتجدد، والقادم، بإذن الله، دائماً أجمل وأفضل لدبي وأهلها.

We are proud to have received six international accreditation certificates from the European Organisation for Excellence and Agility (EEA) in the areas of agility and organisational excellence. We’re proud to announce our support for the participation of the National Youth Orchestra Dubai and its National Youth Orchestra Strings Camerata opening the 18th Summa Cum Laude International Youth Music Festival taking place from 3-8 July. Reflecting the success of the Authority’s Emirati Music Education Programme and supported by the Dubai Cultural Grant programme, this achievement is set to mark a milestone as the first UAE-based orchestra to perform at three prestigious Vienna concert venues, launching the world premiere of ‘Threads of Light’ by Emirati composer Ihab Darwish.

اختتمت دبي للثقافة مشاركتها في 'معرض بكين الدولي للكتاب'، حيث استعرضت ثراء المشهد الثقافي الإماراتي ودور الأدب في تعزيز الحوار الثقافي وبناء جسور التواصل بين الشعوب.

وفي إطار برنامج 'البيت الإماراتي'، شاركت إيمان الحمادي، مدير إدارة الآداب في الهيئة، في جلسة 'من الحكاية إلى المحتوى الإبداعي: الرموز الإماراتية في أدب الطفل' ضمن محور 'الصناعات الإبداعية ومستقبل الثقافة'، التي ناقشت أهمية توظيف الرموز والعناصر التراثية الإماراتية في صناعة محتوى أدبي وإبداعي موجه للأطفال. كما شاركت في فعالية 'حيث تلتقي الكلمات بالعالم – الأمسية الأدبية الإماراتية'، التي جمعت نخبة من الكتّاب والمثقفين من دولة الإمارات وجمهورية الصين الشعبية لتبادل الرؤى حول الأدب والترجمة ودورهما في تعزيز التقارب الثقافي.

We concluded our participation in the Beijing International Book Fair, showcasing the richness of the Emirati cultural landscape and the role of literature in fostering cultural dialogue and building bridges of communication between peoples.

As part of the UAE House programme, our Director of Literature & Knowledge, Eiman Al Hammadi, participated in the session "From Storytelling to Creative Content: Emirati Symbols in Children's Literature," within the Creative Industries and the Future of Culture theme. The session discussed the importance of incorporating Emirati symbols and heritage elements into the creation of literary and creative content for children. She also took part in the Where Words Meet the World – UAE Literary Night event, which brought together a distinguished group of writers and intellectuals from the UAE and the People's Republic of China to exchange views on literature and translation and their role in promoting cultural understanding.

In an interview conducted by Al Maktoum Archives with Sir Terence Clark, Assistant Political Agent in Dubai (1965-1968), the vision of Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, may God have mercy on him, comes clearly into view— a vision for Dubai, the city whose potential he believed in and whose future he worked to build with confidence and determination.

التقت سمو الشيخة لطيفة بنت محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم، رئيسة الهيئة، خلال زيارتها إلى مملكة السويد، عدداً من الشخصيات النسائية البارزة من القطاعين الحكومي والخاص، لمناقشة سبل تعزيز دور المرأة في مواقع القيادة وصناعة القرار، وأهمية تمكينها للمساهمة في رسم ملامح المستقبل ودفع مسيرة التنمية المستدامة.

كما حضرت سموها طاولة مستديرة في متحف فازا، بمشاركة مجموعة من أبرز القيادات الثقافية والإبداعية في مملكة السويد، حيث تناولت الجلسة دور الصناعات الثقافية والإبداعية في بناء المدن وتعزيز جودة الحياة.
وعلى هامش اللقاء، تجوّلت سموها في أنحاء المتحف، حيث اطلعت على أبرز ملامح التاريخ البحري السويدي.

Our Chairperson, Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, met with a number of prominent female leaders from the public and private sectors during her visit to the Kingdom of Sweden to discuss ways to strengthen the role of women in leadership and decision-making, and the importance of empowering women to help shape the future and drive sustainable development.

Her Highness also attended a roundtable discussion at the Vasa Museum, bringing together leading cultural and creative figures from across Sweden. The discussion explored the role of cultural and creative industries in city building and enhancing quality of life. On the sidelines of the meeting, Her Highness toured the museum and was introduced to key aspects of Sweden’s maritime history.

As part of my official visit to  Sweden, I visited Lovable, one of the fastest-growing companies in the development of applications and websites, specialising in AI solutions.

I also visited KTH Innovation,  the Royal Institute of Technology's innovation arm, where I gained first-hand insight into its integrated approach to supporting the innovation ecosystem. The centre fosters creativity and helps transform ideas and scientific research into startups and ventures with tangible economic and social impact.

These visits highlighted the importance of strengthening collaboration with leading global academic and innovation institutions and learning from best practices in innovation, entrepreneurship, and the adoption of advanced technologies, in line with the UAE’s vision for a knowledge-based economy driven by innovation and future-focused industries.
