This Skirmish meant a lot to me for a few reasons.

First, it was my last Skirmish in Germany before I move to the UK next month. Getting to make the trip with the friends I've made through Riftbound made it even more special.

Second, we travelled about an hour to play in another city's Skirmish, and somehow all 7 of us who made the trip ended up making Top 8. It was an unreal feeling seeing my whole group make the cut and a real testament to how strong our local scene has become.

And finally, managing to win the whole thing was the perfect ending. Finishing my last German Skirmish with a Win is a memory I'll be taking with me for a long time.

I'll still see everyone at locals and at the upcoming GamesIsland Skirmish on 18th of July, but after that my time playing Riftbound in Germany will slowly come to an end.

Game 1 I won after their aurora played a baron, allowing me to hold from 5->7 and conquer to 8

Game 3. Sideboard and draw both anti gear cards. Force them to attack with MF and thermobeam their Aurora.

Learned a lot from Swiss matchup. Flashes and Ferrous hold so strong in this matchup. Also forcing them to conquer 1st and make them play defense helps a lot
