@Paul_Kerridge78 Think he’s better than many rate him tbh, I’d take him for that fee as back up to Fattawu… he’s worth more when is sold on which is all Brighton are thinking I bet, need to be able to turn a profit on players like they do.
@odell_ode93629 Whoever we have at RB best be on top of their game on Friday, Cody Gakpo is looking like the in form left winger right now, need to stop him, would be O’Shea for me, hopefully we have a top level new LCB join and ready to start by Friday
@Wrighty1405 Agree defence is the top priority as you say it’s the weakest area but we also must get a number 9 in this window too, else it’s going to be a long difficult season again. I don’t see it as a case or one or the other, need both
@Wrighty1405 Move on then, Flemming is in form at the moment whereas Tammy is a bit of an unknown in terms of how ready he would be to come in and be the main man up front. Flemming for me, even though Tammy too has a very high ceiling and has proven that in the past. But we must get a 9!
@life_is_itfc We need a prem LCB to come in and start, else we will leak goals. Calling one of our own players that though 🤦🏼♂️ hardly worth getting on a players back over this result. He should have had 2 OGs registered, prem defender should be clearing off goal line once in the right position.
@IpswichTown GON always spot on. Look forward to see what they can do against Liverpool on Friday, at least it’s not too long a wait to get over the bump. Hoping for a big result (1 point would do 😬 )
@Eddguy1@SkyBet Ref would have had to have been certain that the shot wasn’t on target before the deflection for it to be a “clear own goal” and if you need VAR to check that then that itself should tell us it wasn’t clear at all.
@Eddguy1@SkyBet It’s got to pass a few checks really, was it accidental, I’m not convinced about that then was it “clear own goal” now how do we interpret that?? It was off target so the way we determine own goal is ball changed direction but “clear own goal” did ref see that in real-time? No
@Stuart_Watson The rule also says goal stand if ends in an own goal but only if the handball is accidental how he can have his hands covering his chest and that still be deemed accidental, that’s not a natural position at all.. Are players no longer allowed to chest a ball down?
@TomKW2022@The_Forty_Four Not even sure his getting there in front of the goal keeper it was 50/50 at that point plus a covering defender was pretty close, don’t you think you had enough decisions go your way you wanted a red card too? Clueless.
@NorthEastBlue37@TheCruncher76 And the first was a very unlucky slip from nunez, seemed to have a lot of luck going Uniteds way unfortunately, nothing to be ashamed of, a good performance the team run out of steam towards the end though and got a little sloppy, match fitness will come I’m sure.
@IpswichTurkiye Shameful, exactly as it was start the VAR intentionally from fractions of a second after the hand ball offence to suit the bias call the ref reviews that from the start they give a handball, whoever is in that VAR room needs investigating
