I’d argue at least 85% of people at Chicagoland do not want the street course next year.

There was always a better turnout when it was in September for the first round of the playoffs/chase. Plus weather was always more reliable. It seems the severe lack of effort on nascars part to make this work will put the final nail in the coffin.
This is honestly really unfortunate. Not really sure what you can blame here -- ticket prices are what they usually are for NASCAR, people probably aren't working July 4th weekend, and it's NEVER good weather in Joliet Illinois. Don't think we're coming back here.
