Maybe Meghan and Prince Harry weren’t chased but the the paparazzi were very much out of control and aggressive . Here’s a clip the The Breakfast Club this morning whose building is near where the event was saying the damage paparazzi caused #MeghanMarkIe#PrinceHarry
@KaiseratCB @scorpioblue72 What’s terrifying for me is that at one point they were speeding down FDR Drive up to 80 mph to stay away from the paparazzi. That highway is elevated and perched on the side of the island, one wrong move and your car is in the river.
“That imperious Windsor motto, “Never complain, never explain,” is really just a prettified omertà, which my wife suggests might have prolonged Harry’s grief.”
“Harry first felt liberated when he fell in love with Meghan, and again when they fled Britain, and what he felt now, for the first time in his life, was heard.” #Spare https://t.co/173g13wfzL
In the history books, this will be called what it is: exile. By not allowing Harry to pay for security, stay at a secure location, or travel in his home country with proper protection, Charles is basically exiling Harry and his family.
Says a spokesperson for Harry and Meghan: "We can confirm The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been requested to vacate their residence at Frogmore Cottage."
“I feel like this is my life’s mission, to right the wrongs of the very thing that drove us out. Bc it took my mum, it took Caroline Flack, who was my girlfriend, and it nearly took my wife. And if that isn’t a good enough reason…I don’t know what is.” https://t.co/JL9Jl1kSBX
In a revealing interview for @60Minutes, Prince Harry told @andersoncooper about his childhood, the death of his mother and how the press interacts with Buckingham Palace: “There becomes a point when silence is betrayal.”
The full interview airs this Sunday on @CBS.
