@rubyinnes@emmabuggles 16yo is way too heavy handed, and I'm sure they know it. This is a policy *designed* to fail. Then they can all throw their hands in the air and say "Oh well, we tried", and then forget all about it for a couple more years.
It's not stupidity - it's genius.
@Wirrel42 and I are heading home after a great afternoon watching @nixxmer and her Roller Derby team in action at Wayville Showgrounds. Starlight Express it ain't, but it is definitely all kinds of awesome!
@Claire_Juranic Thanks! My actual birthday was back in March, but apparently getting the game out in time for that wasn't high on Nintendo's list of priorities...
This is my mate's HQ Kingswood, we took it to St Mary today (100km round trip) for a car club cruise. Dunno how Kingswoods ever became classic cars, but this stock as a rock 253 V8 powered one is a pearler π
@FindTheStrawb That's interesting... I use YouTube in exactly the same way, and no more than a quarter of my feed is shorts. I'm subscribed mostly to tech/science/gaming/automotive/motorsport channels... have you noticed any particular types of video that are affected more than others?
@Wirrel42 and I stayed in Geelong last night on our way to Sydney. Met up with @superfasty at Alma restaurant for a night of great food and fantastic company. Great to finally meet you Fasty!
@XypherOrion To play the theremin well you need an excellent ear for pitch, same goes for fretless string instruments (ie. violin). You don't necessarily need that for VR music in particular... except maybe for this

Vintage is in full swing here in the Barossa, @Wirrel42 and I went out to Eden Valley to see my Pinot Gris get machine harvested tonight. They get shaken up real good, but it gets the job done and beats traditional picking hands-down!
