We have announced funding of ยฃ159,999 to support twenty arts and community organisations across #NorthernIreland in delivering a series of community-based arts projects benefitting older people.
The funding is part of the #NationalLottery Arts and Older People Programme, a pioneering initiative funded by @LottoGoodCauses and @publichealthni, which aims to tackle loneliness as-well as promote positive mental health and well-being among older people, through engagement with the arts.

2025 is well underway for Belfast Boys who closed last Friday's AHRC Critical Dance Pedagogy Network event @QUBelfast.
With an energetic & fun-filled performance from the boys, there was no better way to showcase the power and joy of dance! ๐@aoifepea for inviting us along.
Suteminis & Sutemos sessions are back for the Spring Term this WEDNESDAY (15th Jan) at Dungannon Youth Resource Centre at 6pm (7-11 yrs) and 7pm (12-18 yrs).
New members are always welcome & no experience is necessary. ๐

Sutemos had a ball in Limerick this weekend with partner organisation @DanceLimerick working with @VDurrer & @aoifepea. The group is part of the Youth Dance Matters research, a collaboration between @QUBelfast & @ucddublin.

On Sunday our projects came together for our annual Day of Dance at @CrescentArts to share work, take part in workshops and create a short piece together.

๐ It's a massive thumbs up for @BBCCiN from all the past, and current, members of Sutemos and Suteminis. Being involved in this intercultural youth engagement programme has been really valuable for many young people who live in or around Dungannon, Northern Ireland.
