Today something unexpected happened.

I ordered food through Zomato. The delivery partner had delivered to my home several times before, so I recognized him.

After handing over the order, he hesitantly asked, "Bhaiya, can I have a glass of water?"

I invited him in. He left his raincoat outside, came in, and I gave him some water. That's when I noticed his eyes were red, as if he had been crying.

I asked, "What happened?"

He quietly replied, "Kuchh achha nahi hai, bhaiya."

I asked again, and he told me that early this morning his mother had slipped from the stairs. She was in the ICU and her condition was unstable. The next train to his hometown was at 11 PM, and the journey would take nearly 30 hours.

He said, "I don't even know if I'll be able to see her in time."

I asked if he had eaten anything.

He said, "No."

So we shared the same meal together.

After that, I searched for flights on Skyscanner. I found one for around ₹4,000 and booked it for him.

He looked worried and said, "Mai kabhi airport nahi gaya."

I smiled and told him, "Don't worry. My friend is there. He'll help you."

A few hours later, he reached home, met his mother, and called to thank me.

The doctors now say she is expected to recover within the next 12–24 hours.

Sometimes, changing someone's life doesn't take millions of rupees.

Sometimes it takes a glass of water, a meal, and a ticket home.

Be kind.

You never know when you might become someone's miracle. ❤️

Delhi Police!

OP: "This Officer should be Suspend" "This happened just now. I was going from my home towards Kalkaji with my brother on a scooter. We were just riding normally when some police officers stopped us. They were not traffic police; they were regular police officers. We were simply riding on the scooter without helmet and just left from our home and had not done anything wrong. They stopped us without giving any reason."

This is completely unacceptable. The police treated us very badly and behaved in a rude and disrespectful manner.

I have a video of the incident. While our scooter was moving, one of the officers suddenly took the key out of the ignition. This caused us to lose balance. We could have fallen, been seriously injured, and even caused an accident because there was traffic behind us.

They did not introduce themselves or properly ask for any documents. Instead, they acted arrogantly, misused their authority, and behaved disrespectfully. They then took our scooter and left us stranded in the middle of the road.

We even asked them to do a penalty or challan against our vehicle for helmet violation but they ask for bribe. We had important work to attend, but because of their actions, we were left helpless. This kind of behavior is irresponsible, dangerous, and completely unacceptable

A motorist avoided a head-on collision with a rogue truck going the wrong side on the Delhi Dehradun Corridor. This 6-lane highway is described as "access controlled" by @NHAI_Official. Had this driver been distracted or driving in the right lane, he and his family would most likely be dead or seriously injured. A cement mixer and a car were also on the wrong side. Clearly, the highway maintenance teams are not doing their job.

Approximately 205,000 people are killed in road accidents in India annually. The US, with 6 times more cars than India, has 47,000 fatalities.
