Today, Telegram notified all its users in Spain with this alert:

Pedro Sánchez’s government is pushing dangerous new regulations that threaten your internet freedoms. Announced just yesterday, these measures could turn Spain into a surveillance state under the guise of “protection.” Here’s why they’re a red flag for free speech and privacy:

Be careful everyone - remember when you combine a volatile meme as collateral, crazy high APR, an aggressive 75% LTV liquidation level and all of this can be ascertained easily to anyone on chain, the likelihood of someone hunting your liquidation level is very high.

A 75% LTV, which will include the crazy high APR as accrued interest on the debt side, this means an equity-to-debt ratio of 1.33 (vs say Binance with 1.05 with much lower borrow rates) so therefore @senditfun are jeeting an additional 33% for every $1 of collateral that needs to be paid back (plus accrued interest). By doing this, they exacerbate the sell pressure and cause even further liquidation cascades in the price of the meme.
