@AlanKonig@upstatefederlst Yupp, and I think the people who could fix that most easily are the rich politicians who design the policies.
Seems like you kinda agree?
@violencier@upstatefederlst And I hope all people that commit crimes go to jail (or are executed, if appropriate.)
I just also think rich people and the government might need to also be held responsible for the conditions we live in 🤷♂️ especially given how much they manipulate them for personal gain.
@galaxygaschambr What could go wrong with employment being concentrated to a couple of large places (who are also heavily investing in AI and robotics) and who have so much leverage that no one employed there can effectively bargain?
Btw this guy thinks less than 500 people is a mom & pop.
@notadampaul@memeticsisyphus@GarrettTardo You’re right.
I’m tweeting about it. Just like you and the OP are, in exchange for social currency and clout on the platform owned by the world’s first trillionaire.
We’re all just hypocrites being guided by rich people with their own agendas 🤷♂️ confusing ain’t it?
@violencier@upstatefederlst You’re right. Rich people with tremendous power often lie or misrepresent themselves while affecting our lives in ways that are widespread and often systemic.
I knew we probably agreed deep down.
@violencier@upstatefederlst If you’re telling me that crackheads are your problem then simultaneously telling me that the thing stopping you from solving that problem is a rich man at the top, I’m gonna go ahead and take that as a point for my entire argument.
@aboveitall_b@blassicliberal I can’t speak to whether the man is racist or misogynist. Probably, that’s kinda what a lot of white men do as a default regardless of political side.
But I can say that it’s pretty clear he doesn’t associate himself as right-wing or alt-right and outright says no to that label.
@Bias_Zebra@memeticsisyphus And I think the employees who handled the website and your package are actually responsible for your satisfactory purchase from Amazon.
Or do we need to look at other contributing factors in order to decide who really is responsible?
@JostledCanary@memeticsisyphus I don’t disagree.
I’m just still struggling to figure out which world we live in where poor people have more control over the regular members of society than rich ones.
Gov? The cartels? The banks? The stock traders? The land owners?
They have less effect than car jackers?
The documents don't actually say his statements are incorrect or proven inaccurate. The dismissal sttes the pleading wasn't crafted properly and needs to be amended to correct certain deficiencies so that they comply with the obligations to rule on what is being alleged.
Not that anyone cares. On either side. The ppl celebrating will take this to mean the case had no merit & the ppl who were just using it for Drake-hate content/trolling will likely not bother to read & just remain silent.
@RWBB4U@memeticsisyphus Bernie Madoff? Jeffrey Epstein?
People of all classes commit crimes for all sorts of reasons. And their own choices.
But people largely commit violent property crimes for a specific set of reasons that usually involve poverty and education (and yes, their own choices.)
@Kazanjy@memeticsisyphus They could 🤷♂️
Or since we live in a modern society, we could lend a helping hand to our neighbors with disabilities and the elderly.
Mad Max shit works too, I guess. Sounds awesome. Can’t wait.
@aboveitall_b@blassicliberal He’s really bad at being alt-right considering he supported Bernie in 2020. And he has hated every alt-right political project I’ve seen him review, sometimes explicitly off of their views.
Could be racist and misogynist sure. But those are on both sides of the aisle.
@memeticsisyphus@GarrettTardo Nope. It just has a positive effect on the one thing you care about related to Amazon: buying shit.
You don’t care about employment, or the environment, or lobbying, or anything else.
And that’s cool. You’re technically right. It doesn’t affect anything you care about.
@memeticsisyphus@GarrettTardo If I have to choose between having my car stolen today & losing a package, I’m picking the package.
If I have to decide between society being relegated to hard labor and/or dying off bc corporations became too large & didn’t need us anymore & a car jacking, I’d pick the latter.
@memeticsisyphus@GarrettTardo Idk. Probably meant something to do with overall impact of these two things and how they affect our lives in the background without us even realizing it and how they’re highly connected.
Or maybe I just am excited for GTA VI.
