I wanna give a huge shout out to @stephenasmith for acknowledging my work and @DeionSanders for believing in me. This was a huge look for me and @on3.

Sincere. We always look at the problem vs being a part of the solution. Antioch high could use you too. Wouldnβt be much of a drive for you and you could be in person. Similar demographic and Iβm plugged in there. Letβs figure it out.
I would love to interview the principal of this school. The school is in Georgia. I don't think I can mentor them from Nashville. You can't mentor over Zoom. Having done plenty of mentoring, it's a hands-on, day-to-day thing.
Is this a gotcha request or sincere?
Now do these same numbers for the entire nation. Would you believe the entire nation is only reading 35 percent βproficientβ when it comes to Seniors.
All of those numbers are based on proficiency not grade level and proficiency is above average challenging material.
Bunna B showed up to Langston Hughes High School in Atlanta to perform the uncensored version of her song βMad Again.β
With lyrics such as:
- She furious (Hmm) now she wanna throw them hands
Keep talkin' shit, I'll make him eat me through the pants (Yum, yum, yum, yum)
- Ooh, I'm talm 'bout on it
He hit so far up in my cat, he say it's pink like bologna (It's pink)
- This bitch is dumb, this bitch is stupid
Shooter with a Glock, no bow and arrow, used to Cupid (Bow, bow, bow)
- Livin' rent free in her head, I gotta buy another spot (Spot)
Keep talkin' shit, I'll take his face and then I squat (All in his face)
Langston Hughes High School has a 26% reading proficiency rate.
Nearly 3 out of 4 tested students failed to demonstrate proficiency in American Literature. (74%)
Almost 2 out of 3 tested students were not proficient in Algebra I. (55.9%)
About 2 out of 3 were not proficient in Biology. (62.3%)
More than half were not proficient in U.S. History. (56%)
But yeah. Glocks and pussies and sh!t.

I can go for that. But the flip side is why not the vitriol for those who capitalize the most. When drugs hurt a community the dealers and suppliers are targeted. Nobody says a word about the labels who benefit the most. This man is responsible for more rap than anyone.
@DukestheScoop He's not a great person but he ain't lying.
Our people don't understand words have power, images create energy and energy becomes actions.
- Money
- Sex
- violence
- Ego
- pride
- Materialism
Is destroying the community.
Rap music is straight mind altering garbage
@WestAthens68 I already do volunteer I invited Jason since he was so
Vocal about what resources should be taken away from a school already.
Also do a scholarship at another school in the cluster that my mom taught at before she passed.
Jason if I organized a meeting with you and the principal at this school to develop a multimedia journalism mentorship for the students that aspire to go into media would you be up for it!?
This is not harmless fun. This is at a high school in Georgia. No school that allows this should receive taxpayer money. The adults that allowed this should be incarcerated.
