Soil health practices reduce erosion. So many people out there willing to help and very capable of talking through customized practices that will work for each farmers logistics. Find them and call them! This field is a huge success story!
Today, choose to remember high winds combined with dry, uncovered fields. Remember the soil blowing away and how that makes you feel. Then do something - this year - try cover crops, manage residue at harvest, get and keep cover on those fields so we don’t feel this way again
@BenDontje @2achprofit You are correct. I can drive around right now and see all the tillage fields running muddy water off. The fields with cover crops and drainage are soaking up the water
