@GillianKeegan Sadly, I thought that you'd be better than you predecessors as edu sec. Instead, you continue to spout divisive, nasty, negative and deflating tropes about the supposed brilliance of English education. Come on Gillian... you're better than this rubbish!
@WisdenCricket 'Elevated and reinvented test cricket' and don't play again for 6 months, or at home for 11 and a half months. The public may be interested now but sadly this will have disappeared by the next time england play red ball cricket.
@WisdenCricket Significantly more interest in test cricket now... can't wait to watch England play again... in 6 months. Or to watch the next test match in England in 11 and a half months... Alright some county red ball cricket then... in 5 weeks. Scheduling is awful sorry.
@bbctms Well played creepy. Well done oz. Interesting to see that Warner, Carey and Smith (who ran at least 150 yards) are among those who congratulated the innings. Will defo be holding back the booing personally.
@WisdenCricket Law applied correctly, but I'd that the way you want to win a game of cricket? I feel robbed of what could have been a great partnership and end to the match. Carey's had a great series but will be remembered for one thing... poor that
@LeeAndersonMP_ Yep. Nice to see a representative of the government talking about the important issues. Never mind inflation, mortgages, public sector pay rises, heating or eating, let's discuss the height of Glastonbury's fences. Nice one Lee!!
@Yas_Wisden @Ben_Wisden@Phil_Wisden@willis_macp Does that result actually matter? I can think of many teams in the past that would crumble after a close loss, but this england team?? I doubt it. My guess, they won't change at all and will produce another thriller a Lord's... and Oz might just win again.
@joehallg @Ofstednews So... I'm a Head of History (admittedly in Wales) Who were the three? Feels like a trick question at best. Do we really want a pun quiz history curricumum?
@RestIsPolitics 1. Is the cancellation of the Attenborough documentary actually even worse?
2. Are the Tories jumping around in glee at the moment? Lineker has had more headlines than the wretched policy. Is that a good thing for the government?
@jonsopel The chairman of @BBC needs to sort this out. It'll probably cost say... ยฃ800,000 to hire a different presenter for the rest of the season. Any ideas who is could be?
@Yas_Wisden @Ben_Wisden@Phil_Wisden@KatyaWitney Given that test match cricket, and Bazball in particular, continuously produces such drama and general brilliance, how ridiculous is the decision to not have any test match cricket in England, in August?
@Conservatives@nadhimzahawi Imagine having the bold faced audacity to post this... 12 years of economic mismanagement... forcing working people to real terms pay losses. Hard working people freezing and starving in the country. YOU are the nightmare!
@TheNewsAgents@lewis_goodall Thank you for revealing this absolute scandal. Although, as you highlight, ยฃ700k is not a huge amount on a government scale, but I can only imagine the difference this money would make to my school or the food bank my pupils rely upon. Surely the ministers need to give it back?
