While I don’t hate the Watts trilogy, I think it comes down to how these movies treat MCU characters in fundamentally different ways.
Iron Man was thrusted into being Peter’s mentor while these guys all serve as Antagonists or brief aids to Peter’s own solo journey.
Funny that Jon Watts was getting hate bc his Spiderman movies had too many MCU characters and called him "Iron Man Jr" but this movie has
-Punisher
-Hulk
-Scorpion
-Tombstone
-The Hand
-Jean Grey
And I don't see any hate.
@WaffleFraud@dlml__ Not even a crazy stretch with them being manifestations of the human mind and stuff like that.
Looks like poor Clark didn’t get to unlock his persona tho
@FNAFtwtconfess Okay I can understand the skepticism but is it really fan service if Henry does the one actual relevant thing he does in the game? Like thats how both FNAF 3 and Pizza Sim end, what do you expect bro.
@THECRIMESAGA I don’t have a problem with iconic images being remade for the sake of hype and aura as long as it narratively works and makes sense (even if it isn’t translated directly from the story it comes from). Sometimes it’s just cool to see a dope ass pose in live action lol
@Crimson_Godot And runes, along with upgrading those, you feel a lot weaker at the beginning. Plus the general weapon feel improved in the next games.
Again, I still love it.
@Crimson_Godot Honestly I have the rare opinion that 2016 is the hardest to comeback to. Eternal’s is etched into my brain and Dark Ages is just feels well 24/7 but 2016 struggles to get back into that flow after either of its sequels.
I still love it but things like the suit tokens-
Between the new Doom: The Dark Ages DLC and Godzilla Destroy All Monsters Melee remaster announcement, both gave me a thought. Doomguy in his Atlan vs GMK Godzilla! Wonder who'd come out on top here?
