Congratulations if you’re starting #pupillage in the next few weeks! Here are my tips from my own baptism of fire in 2015-16:
1. Be nice. Seriously. It’s the golden rule.
2. You don’t have to show off your intellect every second; you do have to be appropriate. See rule 1. (1/5)
Law Soc is hosting Hefin Rees QC tomorrow for lunch & discussion! We have just heard that he will now be joined by Sarah Bousfield, also from 39 Essex Chambers, and another #Mildert grad (2011)! Still a couple of places available to email Vicky to book! Free for Mildertians!
Delighted that Sir Andrew McFarlane has been appointed President of the Family Division. His family law prize at @DurhamLawSchool has seen him judge moots, mentor many of my students and offer invaluable marshalling opportunities in the RCJ. Great news!

Preparing a pupillage application? When discussing #minipupillages don't just say what you did - say what you learnt and how you were able to apply your knowledge
