@IAPonomarenko This is true but it is also true that the USA and Israel recently took out significant numbers of the Iran leadership through high tech high cost weaponry coupled with 👌espionage. The Russians have shown they do not have similar capability. As is often the case both can be true.

@MuseumCommodore Yeah I recall some tank game in particular for my amstrad cpc6128. Spent ages typing in. One small typo and it was goosed. Taught precision and patience, and how to deal with crushing disappointment as the games were mince!

@exQUIZitely Civ 1 for sure. Opened a new world of strategy gaming that has stood test of time. And then you started playing about with map builder and realised you had an endless game to play! In terms of atmosphere I will never forget Genesia (also on Amiga).
