As for anatomy, actually i'm not very good at it or at least not as good as i'd like to be haha, but again from experience, knowing gesture is equally important than anatomy. And as for anatomy itself, learning the shape of the muscle is more practical than learning their names+
3. Study the elements of light and shadow and how light works in real life! Once you recognize them and spot them, you can't stop seeing it. The color of the lights and shadows are taken from the surroundings. But from experience, you only need to think if it's "warm or cool"
2. Think in what way the direction of the light will benefit the storytelling the most, maybe light from below for more eerie drawings, and clear light from above for when it's outside
