Hey, I'm Durrdiss, a music composer of all kinds of genres. How many you ask? According to this portfolio video, at least 13!
If you're interested in getting unique music for a project, whether for a business or for passion, then my doors/DMs are open. https://t.co/Tv5gGhRC9b
Hello! I am 99% inactive here now, but thought I'd mention I went to Greece! Specifically Meteora, where Catholic monasteries sit atop giant cliff faces. Surreal and beautiful - I recommend to anyone reading!
@puddlesocks Wasn't this when people asked what cutting board they used, and they said 'oh, I didn't use one, just cut it on top of some stuff,' then it turned out there was a cable underneath the cheese?
Palworld lacks charm for me.
It feels like a bunch of incoherent mods thrown together, which yeah, makes the game entertaining, but lacks the spark for me to delve further.
The only thing that kept me going was the monkey-brain number-go-up play of modern games, which sucks.
TIL: Bambi was originally a novel written as an allegory for the persecution of Jews in 1920's Europe.
The Jack Zipes translation is excellent, by the way, a wonderful read.
#TheGameAwards are the same every year - all about trailers and sponsors. The awards are just an afterthought, and yet people are surprised when they whizz through them?
World-wise, it definitely worked. I adored the locations/characters, though the characters suffered from souls-like growth (they tell little about themselves, you learn about them reading random items).
But I don't think it did anything gameplay to stand out. Still excellent!
Finished Lies of P (got the good ending too!)! I'm torn, because I loved it - the characters, bosses, and worldbuilding were all cool, and the gameplay was a tight souls-like. But it borrowed so heavily from Bloodborne/Sekiro that I'm unsure if I liked it because of nostalgia.
Finished the Starfield story, and it was a whole lot of nothing. Nothing explained, no pay-off or stakes or anything really.
Game was alright. Sound design was excellent, cities were fun to run around in, side stories were decent. But overall, pretty meh, I'd say.
