Congratulations to Justin Leonard on being named Texas Cross Country Coach of the Year by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association!

This award is one of the top honors in high school cross country and speaks to the level of leadership and success he has built over time. His record includes seven straight UIL 6A state championships on the boy’s side, multiple state titles across both programs, and national recognition year after year.

Beyond the results, he has helped build a program known for:

Caden Leonard and Luna Gutierrez both qualified for the 6A State Track Meet in the 3200m.

Caden ran 8:45, setting a new Texas state record, and Luna dropped a 19-second PR, moving her to 6th all-time in program history!
