@yamom696@MayeIsKing_ passing up on two elite offensive play callers (Johnson and Coen) for a motivational speaker will prove to be a disaster in the larger sample size.
@NwahSayir@Foiblaet I’m on yall’s side but endless resentment fueled rage at success is not a viable route to victory lmao. Plenty of highly successful whites who competed as well!
pretty much all right-wing discourse is commenting on things that they don't have any direct experience with
dating, elite jobs (& education)
(that said, the few competent right-wing people i find on here and in real-time generally have very insightful things to say and can identify liberal blind spots in these spaces rather acutely)
@FellAngelKeith@Foiblaet You will never crush the elite universities. The upper class are pouring more money every year into the admissions arms race to go to HYPSM/Ivy League schools. The universities especially the top end ones are stronger than ever, more selective than ever, and rich.
@FellAngelKeith@Foiblaet No, you said "I don't think anyone is missing out on not going to an elite institution in this day and age", and I am saying that the opposite is true, that in our more competitive job market people failing to attend an elite institution are missing out on a ton
@FellAngelKeith@Foiblaet Moronic argument, college graduates earn far more money and have far greater opportunities for upward mobility. The middle class shrinking will make an elite pedigree college education even more important to compete. Assume you are blue collar but good luck!
@nujahr19o6b@Will_Tanner_1 Exactly, all the kids genuinely competing for spots at elite schools find the testing components to be a breeze. If someone is gatekept by “Kumon” or “standardized testing” they were always cooked.
@FellAngelKeith@Foiblaet You are a moron. The pathway to the upper middle class is gate kept by elite institutions. Finance, tech, consulting, law, medicine, good luck getting into these fields by going to Kennesaw State! Or just with your high school degree!
