Reflections of God is meant to serve as a visual representation of how the concept of God can be seen as a reflection of a person's inner motives, drives and spirit.

To see the true face of our own God we must look within ourselves. Those with cruel heart, serve a cruel and punishing God. Just as those with a loving and welcoming heart embody a loving and welcoming God.

About the project:
This story is about a sentient apartment that’s isolated, until it is rented out during the Covid-19 pandemic. It slowly comes to life to accommodate the workers who find refuge within it. One day, when the community within the apartment is threatened, it has decided its had enough of the assault and whisks itself and its occupants away to a safe-haven, where there is no ‘us’ and ‘them’.

A glimpse of Thursday night! Vol.2 Queer Catalyst 2024 animation screening🌈

About the project:

Joan( main character promises to speak to friends about something that bothers her)
Decides she doesn’t want to but the issue keeps eating at her soul preventing her from sleeping.

As she is struggling to sleep, she sits by the window looking out in to the city and night skies, avoiding the calls from her friends.
The ringing of the calls becomes so loud and unbearable that she is forced to answer.

Her friends urge her to speak and she eventually comes out to them about her sexuality. She admits she is lesbian. Unexpectedly her friends express love and acceptance.
