The part where he slanders Israel for carrying out a war after they were attacked and falsifies the way in which they conducted it. That overshadowed the part where he was speaking positively about the university.

It's awful that U of M has turned into a leftist shithole. I'm still wearing my Michigan sweatshirts - today's is from the 1998 Rose Bowl - but I wear them in remembrance of what the school used to be. =o(

@coachbrucepearl I dont know how I can support this. Really embarrassing. We claim to be one of the most prestigious public schools in the world. Dont know what has gone on in the last 5 years, but my diploma is feels worthless if its associated with ignoring facts and reality. Baffled alum here.

At today’s University of Michigan graduation, Professor Derek Peterson thanked anti-Israel protesters for 2 years of campus chaos.

Turning a commencement speech into a political rant like this is grounds for termination.
