@TheAFDPodcast Yes, Slash when I started out, but then it became Izzy and stayed that way. His sound and style is... Different, it's really laid back and tight at the same time, he never overplays, great guitar sounds. I think his style/sound is most comparable with Ronnie Wood in the Stones..
@JimmyAshhurst '92 @ Chicago Recording Company, working on "Can't Hear 'Em" perhaps? This might sound strange, but I was wondering about the production part of the JJH album, did Eddie Asworth use several mics on Izzy and Ricks guitar amps or just one? The guitars sound so great
@Badapple73@IzzyStradlin999@DuffMcKagan Always loved this album.. top of the list. I find it more Stonesy sounding than River, probably all of them with the exception of JJH
@DanielLohues Mooi interview, en erg genoten vanavond in Cultura! De nieuwe liedjes klinken ook echt heel mooi, hoop snel een nieuwe plaat ;) En de blues jam aan het einde, gewoon hypnotiserend... Zo gaaf!
@tomokostradlin I've dug up and old forum (https://t.co/aUfKUJhyVz) chat from 2005 with Jimmy where someone asked him about the '95 GN'R demo 'Down By The Ocean' and he said he remembered that was a JJH track from '93 Trinidad recordings with the word 'Ocean' mentioned in the title or lyrics
