I completely agree with the article. Programming is not like riding a bike where you learn it once and it stays with you forever. It is a craft. If you stop practicing, you get rusty. The only real way to stay sharp is by writing code, solving problems, and building things regularly.

There is also the aspect of fulfillment. When you rely too much on tools like vibe coding, you might finish the task faster, but it often does not feel like you actually built something. The real satisfaction comes from thinking through the problem, writing the code yourself, fixing the bugs, and finally seeing it work. That process is where the learning happens, and that is what makes programming rewarding.
