@satoruiasis Yes, use. That’s why most manga characters can be swapped in and out of any European and Japanese settings and nobody will bat an eye.
Like a lot of historical romance anime, I have western settings. Also Bleach is a good example of that too.
@ERG4STULLUM@strikeredL Could’ve fooled me, especially since all of them are racially ambiguous looking to white passing.
We know what race blonde hair and light eyes are typically associated with.
Also, I believe only one of them is actually full Japanese.
@DynamoSuperX But a lot of it is performative. One thing I’ve noticed with both men & women when it comes to stuff like this is that Usually the people that over sexualize the most and go off the deep end tend to be lacking in sexual experience. And many are even virgins. Which is interesting
@HotGirlHashira@Osse_Lives@yurimaxed It’s not people, it’s just women. There’s a reason why men have dominated K-pop more than women. Because the Fanbase is mostly straight women, so duh. The whole pop boy/girl band thing has always been geared more towards us.
We don’t need to think piece for everything.
@belosania@Osse_Lives@yurimaxed Exactly. that’s what I’ve been saying. When you look at K-pop, who are usually the most popular groups. The boy groups.
So it’s not surprising that the boy band is getting more attention in this movie. K-pop is mainly geared towards straight women
