The Clinton family is saddened by the news that we have lost long time J.F.K coach Johnny Mathis to a long illness. Coach Mathis has left an enduring legacy and his spirit will live long on through the student-athletes he inspired and led through his illustrious career.
Clinton secured their second consecutive Final 4 appearance with a 63-60 win over Van Buren H.S. of Queens. The Govs will face the 3rd ranked team in New York State in Transit Tech who defeated Lehman 97-61. The semifinal matchup will be @ Queens College this Monday at 5pm.
Clinton defeated Brooklyn Tech 73-41 in the Round of 16 to set up a home quarterfinal matchup with Van Buren of Queens this Thursday at 5:00pm. Clinton knocked down a season high 11 three point shots and led start to finish. With the win, the Govs move to 22-1 on the season.
DeWitt Clinton defeated Far Rockaway 66-40 in the 2nd round of the playoffs to earn a spot in the Sweet 16. The Governors will next play the 19 seed Brooklyn Tech High School who upset the 14 seed Kipp 46-45. That game will be played at Clinton this Tuesday March 7th at 5:00pm.

DeWitt Clinton delivered on Senior Night with an 81-54 victory over Bronx Science. The Governors finish the regular season at 20-0 with a 12-0 league mark. Clinton will now participate in the Bronx Boroughs next week with seedings set to come out tomorrow.
Clinton defeated “AA” Wheels Academy 63-38 in the Monroe Tournament. The Governors are currently ranked 5th in the latest New York State Rankings for the “A” division and with the win go to 19-0 on the season. #bxsports

Clinton moves to 16-0 with a decisive 72-47 win over Evander Childs. The Govs are next in action on Saturday January 28th when they take on Bryant High of Queens in the PSAL “A” showcase held at Truman High. Bryant is currently 12-0 so it should be a good one. Tip is at 10 am

DWC fell to Transit 64-55 in the city semifinals. Clinton ends the year at 23-2 and was able to complete its first undefeated regular season since our 1966 team led by Nate Archibald and Mike Switzer. A special thank you to our group of seniors who were exceptional in every way.
In the quarterfinals, Clinton outlasted MSIT in double OT 91-85. The Govs were led by Jason Coachman and George Acevedo who scored 30 & 27 pts. This Tuesday is a semi-final matchup against number 1 seed and current # 1 ranked team in the state Transit Tech of Brooklyn. #BXSports
