I like to look at Pudgy as the blueprint. Luca and team are absolutely smashing it but the valuations are already pretty spicy, especially the NFTs.

I have 4 core positions, which let me sleep well at night because they will build and bring value back to their holders regardless of the outside noise.

What do they have in common? Battle-tested and doxxed founders, 3-4 years trackrecord, trying to disrupt a sector in the real world while leveraging web3 rails.

What are they?
1. $rekt - OSF has generated free value for his community for the last 3.5 years. Trying to disrupt the consumables market with a web3-native approach focused on memes and community. Currently going from strength to strength yet the token remains cheap to memecoins with no fundamentals.
2. Myriad - Farokh is probably the loudest voice in web3, with access to literally anyone remotely connected to crypto (including the US president). Trying to build a competitor to Polymarket with a focus on media integration. Huge competitive advantage in that they own the majority of web3 media. $rug will get 25.5% of the $myr supply (the future Myriad token), yet it sits at a $30m implied mc because no one bothered doing the research
3. Chimpers - top3 web3 IP alongside Pudgy and Azuki. Only second to Pudgy in terms of web2 presence (2M followers) and struck big web2 brand collabs. Great execution trackrecord across digital and IRL drops. Goated team which puts their community at the centre like OSF. Importantly, they haven’t diluted their OG collection so supply will become an issue (or an opportunity for existence holders!) when the space catches up
4. Hytopia - went through hell with the Minecraft rug and multiple pivots. Almost no one is paying attention at the moment but they are on the verge of building a real competitor to Roblox, with the integration of AI to generate high quality games in hours instead of weeks. First couple of viral games just dropped and are attracting casual players in larger and larger numbers. Ark and Temp have never given up, and are about to carry the weight of the web3 gaming’s high expectations on their own shoulders. The token $topia currently sits at a stupidly low valuation ($10m) but the upcoming new tokenomics and fast player adoption are going to change that
