Our #firefighters are working extremely hard in very warm conditions at #WarehamForest. We’ll be on scene for the next few days making sure all the hotspot have been extinguished. Another serious reminder to all about the importance of #firesafety on our beautiful countryside.

We now have over 100 firefighters at #Wareham forest tackling huge heath blaze. Wind is carrying smoke towards #Bournemouth & #Poole. If you’re in that area & concerned about impact of smoke on health, pls close doors/windows 1/2

At 11am Firefighters across @DWFireRescue fell silent in tribute to friend and colleague Simon Kaye. He will be missed by all. Our thoughts are with his family and his friends.
