Despite @GOVUK advice, we know fuel station forecourts are extremely busy. We advise you NOT to stockpile fuel and only buy what you need. @H_S_E have some great advice on #SafeFuelStorage if you are filling up #FuelCrisis#PetrolPanic

Fire crews are working really hard to save as much of this beautiful habitat as possible.
The Incident Command system helps us lead and coordinate our crews and resources whilst supporting a coordinated multi agency approach at Wareham Forest @DWFireRescue@ForestryEngland
❗️Update❗️Around 50 firefighters have been at #WarehamForest overnight but we’ll be scaling back up today. There are still lots of #fireengines, about five miles of hose laid out and hotspots can flare up with little to no warning so PLEASE help us by staying away. #thankyou
🚨Major Incident Update - crews remain on scene throughout the evening at Wareham Forest. Tough conditions and crews working extremely hard with @ForestryComm @DWFRSCraigBaker @DWFRSTimGray @DWFireRescue@DWFireControl and almost every station in Dorset & Wiltshire.
Our #firefighters are working extremely hard in very warm conditions at #WarehamForest. We’ll be on scene for the next few days making sure all the hotspot have been extinguished. Another serious reminder to all about the importance of #firesafety on our beautiful countryside.
We now have over 100 firefighters at #Wareham forest tackling huge heath blaze. Wind is carrying smoke towards #Bournemouth & #Poole. If you’re in that area & concerned about impact of smoke on health, pls close doors/windows 1/2
At 11am Firefighters across @DWFireRescue fell silent in tribute to friend and colleague Simon Kaye. He will be missed by all. Our thoughts are with his family and his friends.
RIP Brother.
Today staff across the Service paid their respects with a minute's silence to Firefighter Simon Kaye from @DWFireRescue, who sadly died on duty on Easter Monday.
Hello Colin. It has mainly been as a response to Grenfell but we have introduced it as a role to be used whenever Fire Survival Guidance is being issued.
