It was so wonderful to speak with these young, brilliant contributors at Palonger Hota. #Coxsbazaar#Rohingya
The hope they have for justice, despite their own experiences, is something we must do everything to protect.
I told them how proud they should be - Bangladeshi and Rohingya youth learning and working together. …(and I apologised for my long answers…!!!)
Meet Haji Bosor, who once had everything—wealth, dignity, and a home🏡.
Now, in his late 70s, he survives solely on aid. His only wish is to return to Myanmar, to spend his final days where his ancestors rest, so he, too, can find eternal peace in the land he loves.🕊️

25th August 2024
On this 25th of August, 2024, as we observe Rohingya Genocide Remembrance Day, we pay tribute to Mohib Ullah (Peacefather), a courageous advocate for the Rohingya community who devoted his life to their cause. His steadfast dedication to justice and human rights serves as a guiding light for those who still endure oppression. Mohib Ullah's sacrifice reminds us of the bravery needed to confront tyranny and the impact one voice can have in the quest for dignity and freedom. Although he is no longer with us, his legacy endures, inspiring future generations to continue the fight for a world where everyone can live in peace and safety. Today, we honour him not only as a martyr but also as a symbol of resilience and the unyielding spirit of the Rohingya people.

When majority of #Rohingya in Maungdaw came to border to flee to Bangladesh on 5Aug 2024 due to incessant drone attack of Arakan Army, hundreds of them were killed by drones of AA.
We request @ICC@CIJ_ICJ@UN_HRC@OIC_OCI & veto countries to take action against AA.

🚨🇮🇱 An ISRAELI hostage just wrote a VERY NICE LETTER to Hamas! No wonder Israel doesn’t let their hostages SPEAK!
“To the generals who have accompanied me in recent weeks, it seems we will part ways tomorrow, but I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your extraordinary humanity shown towards my daughter, Emilia.
You were like parents to her, inviting her into your rooms whenever she desired. She acknowledges feeling like all of you are her friends, not just friends, but truly beloved and good.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for the many hours you spent as caregivers.
Thank you for being patient with her and showering her with sweets, fruits, and everything available even when it was not.
Children should not be in captivity, but thanks to you and other kind people we met along the way, my daughter felt like a queen in Gaza...
In general, she acknowledges feeling like the center of the world. She hasn't met anyone on our long journey, from the rank and file to the leadership, who didn't treat her with gentleness, affection, and love.
I will forever be a prisoner of gratitude because she did not leave here with a lifelong psychological trauma. I will remember your kind behavior, granted here despite the difficult situation you were dealing with yourselves and the severe losses you suffered here in Gaza. I wish in this world we could truly be good friends.
I wish you all health and well-being... Health and love to you and your families' children.
Many thanks.
Danyal and Emilia"
The entire #Rohingya community has lost a guiding light known as Maulana Hanif Saheb. My heart mourns the loss of him. As a Bukhari Hadith expert he not only contributed to education but also invented an alphabet, paving the way for a written Rohingya language. A loss for us all.
The 6 year old boy who remained under the rubble all night has made it safely smiling. I see no one sharing. If he were dead, everyone would share! Share positivity...
