@janemas @ILikeMyLiberty @MissyIsMaga @elonmusk If you own a rental property, it has Property Taxes and other costs like repairs, a mortgage, etc. When you rent it to someone, you total up costs, add some profit ÷ 12 = rent you charge. Therefore, renters do, in fact, pay your property taxes. Otherwise it's charity not rental.

I've done a lot of construction and fairly heavy labor jobs over the years, but that one looks insane. I'm sure I'd get myself or someone else killed doing it.

They'd have to use rockets and fuel to go slower. Blue Origin never intended on going that high, so they didn't get anywhere near that speed.

@thecavedaddy For those purportedly concerned about the "poor" paying income taxes, a solution could be for the flat tax to have a standard deduction. So, you only pay the flat tax on everything over the 1st $10K, $50K, or whatever. Then, the truly poor still don't have a heavy tax burden.

Any quote should be confirmed. I checked about 8 quotes once, and ALL were fake in some way; the quote, author, or ref were fake.
