Markus Burton posted a goodbye message to Notre Dame on his Instagram story.
“South Bend will always be home to me, and it’s been a blessing to be able to represent my city.”
I always close out my interviews with the same question: Is there anything else you would like to add that we didn't touch on?
While this interview was about fatherhood at his family home in Arizona, #Brewers manager Pat Murphy made sure to share this message about Wisconsin:
We all know Pat Murphy the manager, but everything about him starts with being a dad.
A typical night at home in Arizona, wiffle ball in the backyard, and the lessons that carry into the Brewers clubhouse.
From Opening Day:
“Ability is what you're capable of doing. Motivation determines what you do. Attitude determines how well you do it.”
RIP Lou Holtz - A man whose impact extended well beyond the gridiron. You will be missed! ☘️
Which do you think is more likely?
1) Tech re-rating is justified - investors are no longer willing to pay up for their $ share of earnings. Tech and cap-weight US large caps struggle. Opposite of bullish broadening i.e. yesterday’s bull mkt leaders become today’s bear mkt laggards.
2) Re-rating overblown. Earnings quell investor fears. Tech finds its footing. Equal-weight takes a backseat. Bullish broadening concludes with resumption of Tech leadership. Bull mkt continues.
So the back to back NL manager of the year became one of the highest paid managers in the sport, yet he still got less than $5M a year.
So much for Clownshow re-setting the market lol
