Jabal at Tair is a deleted DXCC entity in amateur radio. It's a volcanic island near Yemen.

It was included in the ARRL DXCC country list starting from November 15, 1945, but later removed and placed on the Deleted DXCC Entities list.

This is Bell Rock, 11 miles off the coast of the Scottish mainland.

Although it's not an IOTA, it is listed in the Amateur Radio Lighthouse Society as reference SCO-020, although never "activated".

It's the world’s oldest active sea-washed lighthouse.

Col MM0NDX @ DX-World has tried a few times to go there and set up a very temporary ham radio station, but permission never granted on grounds of safety.

The rock is submerged by up to 16ft (4.9m) of water at high tide, with often fierce North Sea waves breaking over it. However, on a calm day, like the pictures show, a quick activation would be super cool ! Maybe one day!
