Just like in “2.0,” it was j-hope who brought the word “Ddaeng” into this Rapline masterpiece, as RM revealed during a VLIVE in September 2018. In SUGA’s Suchwita interview with EL CAPITXN, he recalled that while they were in the U.S. for the Billboard Music Awards, they tried playing hwatu cards despite not really knowing the rules. What they did know was one thing, they kept shouting, “Ddaeng, Ddaeng!” 😁
For newer ARMYs, “Ddaeng” was released during FESTA 2018 on June 10, 2018, via SoundCloud. This legendary track was aimed at critics and detractors, particularly those in the Korean hip-hop scene who looked down on BTS for being rappers within the idol system. Rather than relying on profanity or direct insults, Rapline crafted a razor-sharp diss track packed with layered wordplay and brilliant lyricism. 8 years later, it remains one of the most celebrated examples of BTS’ rapline’s artistry. 🔥 Can we please have this officially released already?😭
Thankful for these fancams, we get to see more of what Hobi was up to on stage 🥰

Why is the U.S. giving Iran $25 billion for “humanitarian purposes” when the Navajo Nation Reservation is declaring a state of emergency due to having no access to fresh drinking water?
BTS has officially crossed 100 BILLION on-demand audio streams across all platforms, becoming the FIRST Group in history to do so.
— They're also the FIRST Asian Act and ONLY the 7th Act in history to reach the milestone.
BTS’ “Come Over” debuts with 7.35 MILLION streams on Spotify despite being an unpromoted anniversary gift song, a former hidden track, and a track fans have already heard on tour for nearly two months.
— It surpasses every K-pop debut this year, excluding BTS themselves.

ARMYS, Complex put ARIRANG as one of the 25 best albums of 2026 so far but its getting downvoted due to xenophobia on their website. Please go and click "underrated" to push it above ! Its at #23 currently 🫥
