For someone who has watched Timnas fail again and again in finals over the years, this result means a lot. Maybe not just for me but people of my generation.
Sure, it’s not the AFF, let alone the Asian Cup. But for me, it’s about enjoying the small wins. Enjoy them while we can, especially at a time when everything in our lives seems so difficult and bleak.
Was it a perfect performance? Absolutely not. Can it be improved? Most certainly.
But the team got the job done.
They got it over the line. Through sheer hard work and determination, they won the trophy.
It was far from smooth sailing throughout this mini-tournament. But they still scored nine goals in a match, held on for 60 minutes with only 10 men, and cap it off with a shootout win at GBK (something that eluded us SO many times).
So, should we get carried away? Absolutely not. AFC is in the horizon and it's a whole different ball game.
There is still a lot of work to be done in Indonesian football. And I mean A LOT LOT.
But for now, let's just enjoy the win.
@pevensierai One could argue justru being defensive setelah baca tweet itu juga bentuk inferiority complex? Mengamini kritik soal makanan kita (cara masak & tekstur) whilst understanding why (preservasi) seems reasonable. Agreeing with a Westerner’s criticism ≠ conceding Western superiority.
🚨 | BREAKING:
Manchester United were in talks to acquire the Freightliner land for the proposed 100,000-seat stadium and were understood to have tabled an opening offer of around £50 million, believing the £400 million valuation was significantly inflated.
After extensive internal discussions, the club ultimately decided to walk away and pursue alternative options.
In a surprise twist, Tottenham have now entered the race and are close to reaching an agreement to pay the full £400 million asking price. It is understood the breakthrough came after Roberto De Zerbi held lengthy face-to-face talks with Freightliner officials, presenting a detailed analysis of the site's underlying metrics, long-term upside and elite potential.
Sources say Freightliner executives were so impressed by the depth of the presentation that they immediately accepted the valuation, with one official reportedly saying, "No one has ever explained a patch of industrial land to us like that before."
Further discussions are believed to have centred around the site's ability to manipulate space between railway lines and progress cargo through central areas.
Personal terms are not expected to be an issue. New land for Spurs after Matues and Tonali signings.

Does make us wonder though, why a 5 year ongoing project was sacked off on a high.
But in a positive note, Im not certain that the future is looking as bleak as it currently feels.
Dont think the dream is over yet.

All in all, STYs dismisal will always be a peculiar decision (barring reasons unknown to us).
Re: match- Tactical and shape issues to be expected in intl. football. Naive eyes would get to understand though, why a defensive set-up was a necessity for us.

2nd goal arguably lead by individual errors from class players (Can debate that a back 3 wouldve provided cover)
Not a fan of STYs dismisal & Kluiverts appt. But if were willing to put that discussion to bed, this 4-0 is not on the manager- its just football

Probably too much of a simplistic view to call this gamble of a managerial change a failure already.
Started the game well (albeit also a staple for STY's timnas)- would've had momentum with the 7th min pen.
