Ppl just assume that what we have in America is just a given. What we have is the result of thousands of years of very rigorous thought and questions about existence and morality. A very specific set of questions that were asked led us here and without them we’d be very much like these people. You should not take something so fragile for granted. You should work very hard to keep it together and not play around with it by doing things like mischaracterizing it as all evil. You live in the greatest society ever. Preserve it and don’t think just everyone deserves to come and be a part of it.
