@didyouknowgamin Perhaps the early version of A Link Between Worlds which was originally supposed to be a follow up to Spirit Tracks? Miyamoto demanded a follow up to ALttP instead. The wall merging mechanic was always there though, it's just you played as a Toon Link instead.
