@Ari_ishere_ @LauraDreaming someone of this nature. Unfortunately, it seems his toxicity has only gotten worse as his profile has grown. Thank you @LauraDreaming for continuing to shine a light.
All the best to both of you.
@Ari_ishere_ @LauraDreaming Hey Ari! Hope you are well. I banned him from my community around the December of '21 range because of the disturbing behavior that came to light in regards to his treatment to others, especially women. I'm sorry that I didn't know this earlier and that I unintentionally harbored
@DanThurot Thanks for the great list and write-ups! Tournament at Camelot (and Avalon) have reignited my love of trick taking games and I'm excited to try some of these new ones.
Have you ever heard of Booray? It is legendary in NBA circles but I never hear it talked about anywhere else.
@Lippsmacker I say try go for it! Hit me up if you need any tips, but a lot of the fun is from the discovery of playing. And if you end up loving it definitely try Returnal down the road.
@Lippsmacker The abilities make sense since they are tied to Greek gods (Returnal also has a lot of lore in Greek mythology, oddly enough) but allow for complex build crafting when you really get into it. I truly can't recommend it enough and am hyped for the 2nd one.
@Lippsmacker I think Hades is a great place to start. It has great art/music and very lovable characters. The progression you have is recognizable and allows you to always feel like you are getting a little further. And even when you die there is fun dialogue and narrative momentum.
@Lippsmacker And I saw you post about Hades, which is incredible stuff as well. Very accessible as far as roguelites go.
Slay the Spire is also great if you like turn based, card driven games.
@Lippsmacker It's super good and very genre blending. A lot of sci-fi, horror, and mystery tied into one. It is challenging, but being a long form roguelite it has some natural checkpoints along the way. One of my favorite games ever.
"Look, I'm not a master of anything,” said Halloween and The Thing director John Carpenter in a recent interview "I just want to play video games and watch basketball. That's all I care about doing. I don't want to bother anybody." #HorrorWeek https://t.co/kxl9HZ55Ig
