When athletes give glory to God, they’re not saying that God helped them win. They’re acknowledging that His power and presence is real and that He was with them every step of the way.

God helps us overcome setbacks, self-doubt, injuries, failures, and fears. He often uses the difficulties to prepare us for greater opportunities. He gives us peace to practice and complete to the best of our ability. He takes what was meant to harm us and uses it for our good. He gives us himself.

The grind is a gift. The victory belongs to the Lord!
