delighted to make my @DesignObserver debut with a piece perfect for the holiday season - talking about AI, militarist creep, and weaponising Ghibli aesthetics for messaging that undercuts its humanist principles. porco rosso great though.

I have spent months trying to get a publication to take my pitch on how the NYRB classics edition became the new chic literary accessory, which I know because I am extremely guilty of it (there’s two more cut off at the bottom lol):

🧴 Baldness — over: scientists have created a serum that restores hair in just 20 days
Researchers in Taiwan tested a new formula on mice — and within three weeks, completely bald animals started growing fur again.
The secret lies in natural fatty acids that stimulate hair follicles without irritating the skin. Scientists say the serum is safe and are preparing for human trials.
Looks like Turkey might soon see fewer bald tourists.
elated to make my debut for one of my favorite sites @DefectorMedia ! big thanks to @BrandyLJensen for taking a chance on an extremely stupid pitch that I believe with my whole heart:

currently at the pub that Leopold Bloom goes to in Ulysses (Davy Byrne’s). they started playing MJ Lenderman and then turned it off after ten seconds to play Sean Paul. I have to imagine Joyce would have had a field day with this.
