I build businesses and use AI to handle the busywork: missed calls, follow-ups, scheduling.
Daily posts on what actually works for owners. No hype.
What would you hand to AI first? #AI
The Pentagon’s FORTRESS plan reportedly requires major U.S. military bases to run for 90+ days without outside support. Here’s a civilian version for your household:
⚡ Energy: Generator or solar power station, stored fuel (stabilized and rotated), manual backups
💧 Water: 1 gallon per person per day, plus a filter, purification tablets or bleach, and a way to boil
🥫 Food: 90 days of shelf-stable food your family will actually eat, plus a manual can opener and a backup cooking method
📻 Comms: NOAA weather radio, two-way radios, offline maps, written contacts
🩺 Medical & Hygiene: Extended first-aid kit, 90-day prescriptions where possible, sanitation supplies
🔧 Fuel, Security & Docs: Vehicle fuel, small bills in cash, IDs and insurance papers in waterproof storage, tools and spare parts
🤝 Skills & Community: Practice with your gear, know your neighbors, and keep a written plan
Start small: build a 2-week base first (water, food, basic power), then expand. Store what you’ll rotate through normal use.

REMINDER: On Tuesday, November 17, 2026, around 2:20 p.m. ET, FEMA and @FCC will conduct a nationwide test of the Emergency Alert System (EAS).
The test will air on radio and TV only and will not be sent to mobile phones. No action is needed from the public.
New in Claude for Legal: a gallery of ready-made artifacts for contract review, regulatory horizon scans, cite checks, and more.
Start from the built-in example, add your own documents and connectors, and share it with anyone across the business.
Anthropic's advice this week: newer models do better with one agent loop than a chain of handoffs. Same lesson for small business automation. One tool doing one job end to end beats five apps passing data around and breaking at every step.
Before you cancel software to "just build it with AI," ask one question: who fixes it at 9 PM when it breaks? Custom AI tools shine on the small jobs your software never covered, not on replacing core systems like payroll.
Ethan Mollick rebuilt his book's website with Opus 5.5 and said it mostly did the work alone. If your site looks dated, give AI your current copy and three sites you like, and ask for a one-page draft. You walk into the agency call knowing what you want.
An Apollo economist's note this week: revenue per worker is climbing at the biggest tech firms and flat for the rest of the S&P 500. My read for owners: AI without a named task is just a cost. Pick one weekly job and time it before and after.
Anthropic has filed an S-1 registration statement with the SEC related to its proposed IPO.

Goldman Sachs just put $500 million behind a new Small Business AI Institute. Their survey of 2,400+ program grads: 86% use AI, but only 15% have it fully built into core operations. That gap between trying a tool and running a workflow on it is the real work.
"Sent from AI agent" is becoming the new "Sent from iPhone." For a small business, that line is a trust problem. The rule worth setting: AI can draft any customer message, but nothing goes out that a person on your team didn't read first.
✨I’ve started something new that has been on my heart for a while.✨
@SavvyBibleStudy is a weekly Bible study on Spaces. It is simple enough for new believers and deep enough for those who have been walking with the Lord for years.
We begin the week of November 1st . I’ll be hosting, and I’d love for you to join us.
Follow the account below, come study the Word of God with us, and bring a friend.
Let’s grow together.

Friday wrap-up idea: ask AI to turn this week's calendar and notes into a short list of open loops for Monday. You start next week knowing where you left off. Like and repost if you'd use this. #AI#productivity
@AnthropicAI used Claude to write formal proofs for 123 open-source libraries, turning up long-hidden bugs along the way. That's safer software underneath the tools businesses use every day. Would you trust AI-checked code more than human-reviewed code? #AI#Claude
Starting next week, @AnthropicAI is making auto mode the default in Claude's apps on Pro, Max, and Team plans. Routine steps run, risky ones get blocked, and you can switch back to manual anytime. Would you let AI work without approving every step? #AI#Claude
@dickiebush Agree, and "how I" content is also harder to fake. Anyone can write generic advice, but your own process, mistakes, and numbers are the one thing nobody else can copy.
