Scouting Report: 4.5 Forty

Ball skills & coverage:
Lockdown corner and versatile secondary playmaker. Excellent mirroring ability, hip fluidity, and quick feet allow him to stay glued to receivers in man coverage. Natural ball hawk with strong hands, timing, and the instincts to break on throws, disrupt passes, and come down with interceptions. Also lines up at safety/FS and contributes as a WR on offense.

Run support & physicality:
Willing and physical tackler for his size. Shows good pursuit angles, aggression in the run game, and the ability to make stops near the line or in space. Doesn’t shy away from contact and brings energy every snap.

Overall traits:
One of the top lockdown defensive backs in Louisiana. First-Team All-District 6-5A DB. Two-way athlete who produces on both sides of the ball. Multiple D1 offers (South Alabama, Oregon State, UCF, Old Dominion, etc.). High-character, high-motor competitor with elite athletic testing (4.5 forty, 4.4 shuttle, 30” vert).
